Golf Course Crisis
The Golf Course Crisis was a disturbance during the Guantanamo migrant-camp operations, an episode of unrest among the Haitian population housed in a camp on the base's former golf course.
As frustration mounted among migrants held in uncertain conditions, tensions boiled over into a crisis that the Marines had to contain, restoring order among a large and agitated population in the crowded camp.
